These are just scans of sketchbook pages from a few months ago that I never thought to post until now. It’s in the isometric style, quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Mostly just experimentation with a jungle-y sort of trend going on maybe?
This year I again participated in the Global Game Jam for 2015. I was on a team with two programers and one other artist. We joined dozens of other gamers at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park CA to spend 48 hours building a videogame from scratch while getting hopped up on energy drinks and free snacks. A while ago I worked on a little video game project with a friend (the same friend that invited me to his team for the Global Game Jam). We called it Project Jupiter (but it didn’t have anything to do with space). It was never finished, but I did do some nifty art assets for it. It was supposed to be a 2D isometric game, so here are some ground tiles I created. More from Project Jupiter later.
