These are just scans of sketchbook pages from a few months ago that I never thought to post until now. It’s in the isometric style, quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Mostly just experimentation with a jungle-y sort of trend going on maybe?
Because I was pleased with the outcome of the onion/garlic/tomato foray, I decided to do more with some different members of the Plant Kingdom. These were done much smaller, all on a single piece of 14″ x 17″ bristol paper. I did them in mind to put them on mugs or tote-bags or something like that. Why not? I’ve recently gotten interested in the field of scientific illustration, so I thought I would take a stab at some simple stuff.
